 What are Hybrid (HL) and Blended Learning (BL) courses?

Yes, it is possible if at least eight confirmed participants are enrolled for the course.

The content of the course can be contextualised to your organisation in terms of the example and the specific industry good practices.

What is SkillsFuture Funding?

SkillsFuture Funding is government funding for training available to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs). 

SkillsFuture Singapore, or SSG, is working with training providers such as BCM Institute to curate and offer quality professional development courses and certifications that impart skills and domain knowledge that are in demand.

Training courses and certifications which impart knowledge and skills in the identified skill areas will be evaluated and endorsed under Skillsfuture Singapore. Self-sponsored trainees and organisations sponsoring their employees in these endorsed courses and certifications can apply for Skillsfuture funding support.

Am I Eligible for Skillsfuture Funding?

All Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs), both self-sponsored and company-sponsored, are eligible for Skillsfuture Funding.  Click to refer to SSG's policy.

1.  Funding Applicable to In-house Training for CM Team and Unit CM Coordinators

Can I have this course conducted in-house for all of my unit-level BCM/ CM coordinators?

• The reason is that you would like your unit-level BCM/ CM coordinators to conduct internal reviews of other business units within my organisation and also the subsidiaries.
• Do speak to our Singapore training team to conduct it in-house, as the content can be contextualised to your organisation and even used as an annual update to your CM plan.
  
  

7.  Published to Received CMCP certification on the SSG portal

When reading the SSG portal, it appears that I am attending an advanced-level CMCE certification course, and in the portal, it is reflected as CMCP?

Based on the course [CM-5000] that you have just enquired about specifically for the SkillsFuture funding, what are the additional questions you may ask?

Why Am I only Awarded the CMCP certification after completing the CM-5000 course and passing the CMCE examination?

One of the conditions for the claim of the Skillsfuture funding, the required for funding to take place is to be awarded the Crisis Management Certified Planner (CMCP) certification.  Hence, you would get the Crisis Management Certified Planner or CMCP certification once you pass the Qualifying Examination attached to the courses.

As you have successfully completed expert-level training and passed the exam, you can apply for your higher certification concerning your crisis management experience.

What CM Certification Can I Attain?

Upon completion of the + approved Crisis Management Expert Implementer course or course code CM-5000 and the successful passing of the BCM Institute's professional examination (CMCE), you can apply for the following certification and they are:

• Crisis Management Certified Planner (CMCP)
• Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS)
• Crisis Management Certified Expert (CMCE)

What Do I Need to Do to Get the SkillsFuture Funding?

To be eligible for the SkillsFuture funding, you would need to:

1. Make the payment according to the invoice issued after funding*.
2. Attend 75% of the course.
3. Pass the accompanying qualifying exam and be awarded the Crisis Management Certified Planner (CMCP) certification.

*BCM Institute course administrator will be registering the funding on your behalf. Please provide your Identification Number and Birthdate to facilitate the registration process.

 

What If I Fail the Examination?

 

In the event that you did not meet the 75% passing requirement for the examination, you would be provided one complimentary re-examination to be attempted within 30 days of your first exam. Within the time, our certification department would be assisting you by providing you with which of the seven body of knowledge that you are weak at. 

Subsequent attempts would be payable at SGD 250 per try.   Based on our track record running this course for more than a decade, do note that it is rare that we have participants who fail in their 2nd attempt if you spent the time paying attention and studying the handbook and electronic information provided on our electronic Wikipedia.

1.  Certification Courses (Non-WSQ) Vs Competency-based (WSQ) Funded Courses

• The current WSQ competency-based training is equivalent to BCM Institute's intermediate certification level professional certification level.

4.  Bridging of WSQ (Intermediate Level) Course to Advanced Level BCM Course

For my BCM program office (Senior BCM Team) , can I have this course conducted in-house for my team managing the corporate or organisation-level programme?

• It is possible as long as there is at least 6 confirmed participants enrolled for the course.
• As such course requires us to deploy a senior and experienced BCM professional with no conflict of interest, do speak to the BCM Institute's training team. 

7.  Registered for BCM-5000 ISO22301 BCMS Expert Implementer, but in the invoice, it is reflected as Business Continuity Certified Planner (BCCP)?
