Is there a difference when attending the Hybrid version of the Non-WSQ course?
SkillsFuture funding is allocated to the [BL] Blended Learning (100% online) course. Should you choose to attend the [HL] Hybrid Learning (50% online and 50% onsite) version, the course fee is Singapore Dollar SGD 4,150.
Also, SSG does not fund the expert-level application fee of SGD 150.
I understand BCM Institute is conducting WSQ courses. What is the difference between WSQ competency-based versus advanced-level Non-WSQ funded course offerings?
These two types of funding from SSG include the advanced-level international certification (Non-WSQ) course versus competency-based (WSQ) accreditation.
The button below illustrates the difference between business continuity management (BCM) and crisis management (CM) courses.
Which course (WSQ or non-WSQ) should I attend?
The current WSQ competency-based training is equivalent to BCM Institute's intermediate certification level professional certification level.
If you are looking for basic BCM or CM and are above 40 years of age, the WSQ course helps build the foundation; the budget is SGD 720. If you are below 39, the course fee is SGD 1,950.
Why am I awarded the Planner certification after completing the Expert-level course?
Even though you have attended the expert level course, the professional certification of specialist level to expert level depends on your prior related experience.
Completing the eligibility of your SkillsFuture funding requires you to complete your payment to BCM Institute, complete and pass the qualifying exam and finally attend 75% attendance.
The invoice is a planner-level certification even though you attend an expert-level course.

Can I organise this course in-house?
Yes, it is possible if at least eight confirmed participants are enrolled for the course.
The content of the course can be contextualised to your organisation in terms of the example and the specific industry good practices.
The challenge is that this course requires us to deploy a senior and experienced BCM or CM professional without a conflict of interest and speak to the BCM Institute's training team.
