The crisis management courses from BCM Institute is broken into two modules.  It is the CM-300 Crisis Management Implementer (Specialist Level) Course and the CM-400 Crisis Management Manager (Expert Level) course. It is important to note that attending CM-300 is a pre-requisite for attending CM-400 course.  If time permit or you need to be up to speed with the entire CM knowledge, you should attend CM-300 and CM-400 together by attending the CM-5000 Crisis Management Expert Implementer course.

Objective of Your Training

This course is specifically tailored to professionals assigned with crisis management responsibilities.  Either in the capacity of managing the crisis management program or be a member of the crisis management team or developing your developing your specific crisis management component of the CM plan. Crisis Management Modular Training

Modular Crisis Management Training (Part 1: Specialist Level leading to CMCS)

For those busy professional who are providing supporting roles to the crisis management team, then, it is appropriate for you to attend the specialist two-day course:

• 2.5 hour electronic exams scheduled on the third day

This course is most appropriate for newbie BCM managers who would like to know more about how to implement and develop the crisis management plan.

However, for seasoned professionals, this course is a pre-requisite when you are pursuing the expert level (CMCE) certification.  it is transparent to you as you already are attending the CM-5000 course which CM-300 course is part of the Day 1 and Day 2 course content.

Modular Crisis Management Training (Part 2: Expert Level leading to CMCE)

Having completed the CM-300 Crisis Management Implementer Course and passed the CCCS examination, for professional intending to upgrade his or her skill to manage a crisis management program and work closely with the crisis management team,  then, it is appropriate for you to attend the expert-level two-day course:

• CM-400 Crisis Management Manager Course 
• SGD 2,200 | 2-Days Course | 3.5 hour electronic exams (scheduled on the third day)

Comprehensive Crisis Management Training (Combination of Part 1 and Part 2 leading directly to CMCE)

The course is designed to be taken in one complete course which is to provide the participants with the complete set of knowledge for crisis management.  The specific course is:

• CM-5000 Crisis Management Expert Implementer Course
• SGD 3,850 | 4 Days Course | 3.5 hour exams (scheduled on the fifth day of the course)

This course is most suitable for BCM managers who are tasked to also oversee and manage the organization's CM plans.  Usually, you are the person providing the conduit between the senior management and the command centre (emergency operations centre).

Crisis Management Fundamentals

You have noticed by now that the Crisis Management Certified Planner or CMCP is not mentioned.  If you are just pursuing CM for knowledge purpose, this is the right course to attend as it provide you with the recognition of being able to have the "Know" competency in BCM Institute's competency level. If you are still keen in pursuing, the specific course is:

• CM-200 Crisis Management Expert Implementer Course
• SGD 1,250 | 1 Days Course | 1.5 hour exams (scheduled on the third day after attending the course)

Recomendation: I would strongly encourage the "main stream" professionals to pursue the CMCS and then upgrade yourself to CMCE as you gain the necessary experience.

Crisis Management Certification

If you have assess the appropriate CM course to attend, then the next requirement is to reference to the CM certification that you will be attaining.  Remember, it is critical that you acquire the necessary CM knowledge and skill set and slowly work yourself toward the certification.
