Complete Application Form: Sample CM BoK 7 PgM #1

When you provide evidence of your experience, you must demonstrate that the requirement as spelt out in the respective BoK is executed during the specific period.  This sample submission is in your application form for BoK 7 Program Management. 

It is essential to demonstrate that you have conducted the processes within the BoK yourself over the specific period mentioned. Your two referees are willing to confirm the experience when the certification team needs verification.

Note that at least one of your referees should be your superior or supervisor.

Do note that some examples are for Specialist Level certification applications.  There is an expectation for more experience and involvement if you are applying for the Expert level certification.

The following activities were performed as part of my Business Continuity and Crisis Management roles and responsibilities:
  • CM Program monitoring
  • CM Program evaluation
  • CM Coordination of management review
  • CM continuous improvement recommendation
  • Coordination of the annual manual revision
  • Coordination of the Steering Committee Meeting
  • Formalization of regular reporting

2. When was it done?

  • December 201x ended mid-May 202X

3. How was it carried out?


As the Organization BC Coordinator and CM Secretariat, I have:
  • Reviewed reports from group companies

  • Compiled monthly group report to update group management

  • Established the steering committee review mechanism

  • Coordinated the steering committee meeting to review the crisis that occurred in the year, identified corrective action requirements, decided whether the risk scenarios’ coverage is sufficient with consideration of the changes in the business environment and agreed on oncoming year objectives.

  • Summarized the crisis incidents and learnings in regular reports

  • Identified corrective actions and set improvement timeline

  • Alerted for manual revision in case of significant changes arises

  • Updated the crisis management policy according to organizational changes and business environment changes

  • Managed the change control management process and reinforced crisis management concepts among group companies through regular communications, briefings and workshops

    • Shared industry best practices among group companies regularly

    • Arranged the post-incident review

    • Conducted internal audits for group companies

    • Reviewed the BCCM strategy regularly with the group sponsor

    • Provided ongoing consultancy support to group companies
