This certification application is for you to provide evidence of your audit experience. You must demonstrate you are auditing background and pertain to the auditing of the BCM program or ISO22301 BCMS certification.

It is essential to demonstrate that you have conducted the audit yourself over the specific period mentioned. Your two referees are willing to confirm the experience when the certification team needs verification. Note that at least one of your referees should be your superior or supervisor/ client.

1. What was performed?

A certification internal audit was conducted for the "Client" ISO22301 BCMS certification. The client had been certified by the external auditor for the last two years 20x0 and 20x1.

Internal Audit 20x0: October 20x1 to Dec 20x1
Inetrnal Audit 20x1: October 20x1 to Nov 20x1

3. How was it carried out?

Audit Planning and Preparation

In preparation for the "Client" audit, an audit plan was developed with a detailed schedule of the activities to be conducted during the audit, and a list of key personnel to be interviewed. The scope of the audit was also determined early to ensure proper coverage.

Audit Field Work

The audit fieldwork involved a review of documented procedures, BC processes and records. Interview of persons responsible for each respective area was carried out.
An audit checklist was used in the fieldwork.

Audit Review and Reporting

The audit started with an opening to the entire management team to set the agenda for the day. Documents were reviewed with interviews conducted as scheduled.
The audit came to a close at 4 pm after which an audit report was written up and presented.

Audit Follow-up

The audited company’s response to the findings was reviewed I gave further feedback to the company.
