Assignment 1 [M4-S1]

IB [BL-CM] [4-5] Assignment RequirementBlended Learning: Participants will download the Testing and Exercising workbook template from eCampus. Go to "Instructor Toolkit" [Click the icon on the right] to download templates

[BL-CM] [4-5] M4 Access to eCampus Instructor Toolkit

There is no assignment from M4-S1 as the only requirement is to familiarize the participants with the purpose of each template using the guidance notes or the reading found in the eCampus.

Onsite Training. Participants will be notified to download the templates from eCampus before the start of the course together with the Module 3 lesson, and the Program Admin team will inform them.

Assignment 2 [M4-S2]

Focus and Key Emphasis on TE Topic: One of the presentation slides in Module 4 Session 1 (M4-S1) is testing and exercising (TE). The objective is to get the participants to know and access a set of toolkits to exercise the program and plan, develop and implement a series of tests and exercises.

The exercise to prepare for the TE execution will be in Module 4 Session 2 (M4-S2), whereby they are supposed to complete the templates and present them to the class during blended learning and onsite training.

Download Assignment. Participants are expected to download the "Advanced Test and Exercise" template containing TE Templates: T3, T5 and T8 from the eCampus

Participants should complete the set of three TE templates (T3, T5 and T8) as assignments before attending the online class. Click the left icon for the complete set of TE templates.  Below are the three templates found in the template the participant downloaded and were required to complete as part of their assignment.

Table of Content [1] for BCM Testing and Exercising

[T3] Design Profile template (Word Doc)

  • for walkthrough exercise for a crisis scenario as identified in Module 2.
Design Profile for Walk-through Test

[T5] Exercise Incident Sheet (Word Doc)

  • for two incidents relating to crisis scenarios) for a walkthrough exercise
Design Profile for Incident Simulation

[T8] Overall Test Schedule (Word Doc)

  • for your organization's CM three to five-year roadmap to test and exercise and mature their CM programme.
Overall Test and Exercise Schedule

The instructor is strongly advised to get the participants to present during the online workshop.

The common comments for each template are:

  1. [T3] No changes were made to the content, or the content completed in the test design is too generic
  2. [T5] Too many incidents are being combined into the templates
  3. [T8] Participants do not make any changes to the "Overall Schedule" and are advised to delete the list of test/exercise that is not appropriate for their organization.

Onsite Training. Participants will be notified to download the "Advanced Test and Exercise" template (containing TE Templates: T3, T5 and T8) issued by the Program Admin team before the workshop.

This assignment is completed during the class.

Submission of Assignment

Remind the student to submit their completed assignment after the class:

  • Advanced Testing Templates (T3, T5 and T8)

The deadline is two calendar days after the Module 4 Session 2 class.

Onsite TrainingParticipants must submit their assignments online to eCampus at the end of the day and after presenting them in class.  There is no review by the Facilitator as this is conducted in the onsite class.
