XXX IB [BL-CC] [4-5] Module 4 Assignment Requirement

Focus and Key Emphasis on Command Centre Topic: For the command centre discussion, which is part of the crisis management presentation, ask the participants to develop and share their own command centre structure based on the theory presented.

Onsite training.  You may want to present the theory of setting up a command centre. In order to conduct and complete the assignment “Command Centre Structure”, give them 15 minutes to discuss as a group and to design and describe their current structure. Then, match them with the theory.

Blended Learning.  Participants will be presenting their completed Command Centre Structure as a pre-course assignment.

Focus and Key Emphasis on TE Topic: One of the presentation sets of slides in Module 4 Session 1 (M4-S1) is testing and exercising (TE). The objective is to get the participants to know and access a set of toolkits to exercise the program and plan, develop and implement a series of tests and exercises.

The exercise to prepare for the TE execution will be in Module 4 Session 2 (M4-S2), whereby they are supposed to complete the templates and present them to the class during blended learning and onsite training.

Blended Learning. Participants are required to: Download Case Study already used in Module 3.  Note that the participants have already access to a PDF copy.  You can view this e-Copy by clicking the icon on the right if you are teaching only in Module 4. Proceed to develop a table-top exercise (simulating a series of incidents) for the activation of the business continuity plan due to the fire to the AllSafe Bank's headquarters. Download Assignment. Participants are expected to download the "Advanced Test and Exercise" template containing TE Templates: T3, T5 and T8 from the eCampus Participants should complete the set of three TE templates (T3, T5 and T8) as assignments before attending the online class. Click the left icon for the complete set of TE templates.  Below are the three templates found in the template that the participant downloaded and are required to complete as part of their assignment. [T3] Design Profile template  (Word Doc) for walkthrough exercise [T5] Exercise Incident Sheet (Word Doc) for two incidents for a walkthrough exercise [T8] Overall Test Schedule (Word Doc) for your organization The instructor is strongly advised to get the participants to present during the online workshop.  The common comment for each template are: [T3] No changes were made to the content or the content completed in the test design is  too generic [T5] Too many incidents being combined into the templates [T8] Participants do not make any changes to the "Overall Schedule" and are advised to delete the list of test/exercise that is not appropriate for their organization. Onsite Training. Participants will be notified to download the file "Advanced Test and Exercise" template (containing TE Templates: T3, T5 and T8) issued by the Program Admin team prior to the workshop.  This assignment is completed during the class.

The deadline is two calendar days after the Module 4 Session 2 class.

Onsite Training.  There is no requirement to submit assignments except to present in class.

Blended Learning. Participants are required to submit (upload) the assignment via the "Upload" module in eCampus and this is to be reviewed by the Facilitator.
