What Are You Required to Complete for Module 3 for Blended Learning?
Module 3: Online Training and Discussion Workshop
To complete Module 3 of the BL-OR-5 or Blended Learning OR-5000 course, participants must attend two 1/2-day sessions for Module 3.

[A] Pre-reading |
Pre-readings assigned are selected blogs and chapters of the Manager's Guide to Operational Resilience (available as online blogs). Participants are recommended to complete them before the facilitated online session.
This serves as 'bite-sized' background information, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the concepts to be discussed. It would also assist participants in completing their pre-course preparation before the start of each 3-hour online session.

[B] Attend Facilitated Online Training |
All Blended Learning OR-5000 course participants must attend two 3-hour facilitated online training sessions. Facilitated by an industry practitioner, the 3-hour session would concentrate on developing the pillars for operational resilience. Participants are free to ask and seek clarifications during the online training with the facilitator.
- Identify important business services
- Set appropriate impact tolerances for important-critical
- business services
- Map operational resilience across the organization
- Perform scenario testing
- Communicate operational resilience plans effectively
The second 3-hour session would be facilitated training on the "Plan" phase of the operational resilience planning methodology.
Both sessions are compulsory for anyone who has signed up for the Blended Learning OR-5000 (BL-OR-5) programme.

[C] Pre-reading and pre-course preparation |
All participants will review their own organisation based on the pre-course template provided. This is to enable participants to be free to ask and seek clarifications during the online training with the facilitator.
You are expected to spend 1-hour session sharing the management presentation with the management (facilitator and the class).
Both facilitated online sessions are compulsory for anyone who has signed up for the Blended Learning OR-5000 (BL-OR-5) programme.
