What is included in the course fee?
When you are attending the onsite or blended course, the fee (Global Pricing based on Singapore dollar SGD 3,600) includes:
- The courseware (handbook) or downloadable PDF handbook.
- A dictionary or Online dictionary BCMpedia
- For onsite training:
- The refreshment which includes the morning and afternoon tea-break
- Lunch at the hotel or nearby restaurant
After the course, the fee will include:
- A qualifying BCCA examination
- A qualifying BCCA re-examination
However, the application fee for BCCA application processing fees of SGD 100 is not included as part of the course fees.
For participants attending this course in another country, the accommodation and flight to the country are not inclusive.
Do I have to complete any other BCM pre-qualifying courses to joining the BCM-8030 course?
- There is no pre-requisite if you are attempting the course in one sitting. However, the next two bullet points will explain the difference between participants with and without BCM experience.
- Participants who are new to BC or with less than one year of BC experience will be awarded the Business Continuity Certified Planner (BCCP) certificate by attending this BCM-8030 course.
- Experienced professionals with 1-year experience, from the Internal and external auditors conducting BCM audits, Financial and IT auditors who have direct or indirect responsibilities are encouraged to apply for their Business Continuity Certified Auditor (BCCA) certification after completed the online exam.
Do I need to complete the BCCA exams?
- Yes, you do as this would allow you to obtain an internationally recognized BCM certification.
- Passing the exams allows you to apply and be certified as a Business Continuity Certified Auditor.
- Do note that the exam fees are inclusive whether you take it or not. Therefore, the absence from the examination cannot be deducted from the course fees.
What happens if I fail the BCCA exam?
- Your course fees allow you one complimentary re-try of the examinations.
- We would encourage you to re-take the examinations within a month from your first try.
- The complimentary re-examination will void after 90 days from the first attempt.
