BCM-8530 ISO22301 BCMS Lead Auditor course is a four day or four modules (blended learning) course.
For those who had completed their BCM-8030 BCMS Auditor course and would like to be a "Lead Auditor", you are required to attend an additional day after completing the BCM-8030: Business Continuity Certified Auditor (BCCA) course.
This course is completed by busy professionals who are keen on achieving the Business Continuity Certified Lead Auditor certification in two-stage. This is usually due to time commitment or budgetary constraints. However, we strongly recommend that auditor assigned to conduct ISO 22301 BCMS audit proceed straight to the BCM-8530 Lead Auditor course.
BCM-8530 is a 4-day advanced level Audit (BA) course with an addition of 3 and 1/2 hour 150-Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based examination, following the successful completion of the course.
It is primarily designed and developed to instil detailed concepts and knowledge in practitioners, which will enable the individual to audit the BC programmes or the ISO22301 BC Management System for the entire organization.
Pre-requisite
- Have one to two years of practical BCM implementation and/or audit experience, specifically in BCM Program Management; understanding an organization’s risk & its impact on the business; determining BCM strategies; developing & implementing BC plan(s); exercising, maintaining and reviewing BCM plan(s); and have help make BCM an organizational practice and culture.
- It would be beneficial for participants to have some understanding of business continuity and have good knowledge of the business systems in their organization before attending this course.
Course Content
This course will provide participants with the concept and knowledge, which will enable them to:
- Have a good understanding of the ISO22301 Business Continuity Management System and its requirements.
- Differentiate the various types of audits.
- Have knowledge of the key attributes of the management system auditor/lead auditor.
- Understand the audit process and framework.
- Prepare an audit checklist and standardised audit program.
- Conduct pre-audit or opening meetings.
- Conduct site audits.
- Collect audit evidence.
- Determine non-conformities of BCMS requirements based on ISO22301.
- Write non-conformity audit reports.
- Know the areas for follow-up and corrective actions after the audit.
