[WSQ-CC] SSG Funding: Self-Sponsored

Trying to find out more on the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding for WSQ courses specifically for Company-Sponsored participants.  The WSQ Crisis Communication programmes are funded and quality-assured by SSG who awards the WSQ certifications.

skillfuture-SG-300x131The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce. As an Approved Training Organisations (ATOs), WSQ supports the SkillsFuture movement to:

  • Promote recognition of skills and competencies to facilitate progression, mastery and mobility;
  • Promote holistic development of the workforce through technical and generic skills and competencies;SkillFutureSG_Funding
  • Support economic development by professionalising skills and competencies to drive industry transformation, productivity and innovation efforts; and
  • Encourage lifelong learning.

Training programmes developed under the WSQ system are based on skills and competencies validated by employers, unions and professional bodies. This process ensures existing and emerging skills and competencies that are in demand are used to inform training and development under WSQ. 

Price and training grant available for:

1) CC-350 Implementing Crisis Communication Plan

2) CC-450 Managing and Executing Crisis Communication Plan

Course fee before any funding: SGD 1,280.  Training grants available.

 

Training Grant Criteria Course Fee

WTS Participants

For Singaporeans who are 35 years old and above earning a monthly income of not more than SGD 2,000

Training grant amount: SGD 1,216

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 64

Singapore Citizen

 

Mid-Career enhanced subsidy

For Singaporeans who are 40 years and above

Training grant amount: SGD 896

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 384

Singapore Citizen

For Singaporeans who are 39 years and below

Training grant amount: SGD 640

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 640

Singapore PR

Irregardless of age group

Training grant amount: SGD 640

Course fee payable after training grant approval:  SGD 640

 

SkillsFuture Credit

 

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above received an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. You can use your SkillsFuture credits to pay for or offset course fees by applying for claim(s) starting January 2016. All eligible Singaporeans will be able to access their SkillsFuture Credit account via: www.skillsfuture.sg/credit
