WSQ Course Skill Assessment: What and Where is it Held?

WSQ Skills Assessment is an assessment whereby experienced workers can now be certified competent in their work involving business continuity, crisis management and crisis communication through a composite assessment. This blog will provide the WSQ participants the venue location and how to get there via the various transportation means.

Assessment-1Overview of Assessment

Upon completion of each WSQ workshop organised by BCM Institute, participants are required to sit and successful complete the assessment in order to receive the Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillFutures Singapore (SSG). This 1-hour to 2-hour duration assessment is conducted  face-to-face with the assessor.

Time of Assessment

Before the end of each WSQ workshop, you will be instructed to sign up for the WSQ assessment. 

Have you booked your assessment slot yet? If you have not, please do so here.

 
Once booking is confirmed, please note that you need at least 15 minutes for each course. E.g, if you are going for BCM-310, BCM-320, BCM-330, CC-350, CC-450, CM-360 and CM-460 course assessment, you will need to book for a 45-minutes session. 

Postponement of assessment will not be entertained unless it is on medical ground. You will be graded an NOT completed the WSQ course with a "FAIL" grade if you fail to turn up for assessment and full course fees, without subsidy from SSG will be charged.

The assessment will be conducted at 6 Ubi Road 1 Wintech Centre #06-09, Singapore 408726

 

 

 

 

 

Map

This is the map of the assessment location.  Do note that you will experience heavy traffic when reaching the location if you are driving via the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

Driving

If you are driving on PIE, turn into exit 11 and drive towards Paya Lebar Road. You should keep to your right if you are coming from PIE towards Jurong. If you are coming from PIE toward Changi airport, you should keep to the left.

Continue to drive on Paya Lebar Road and take a right turn into Ubi Ave 2 at the first traffic junction (Junction with Geylang NPC on your right).

Then turn right on the 1st right into Ubi Road 1. We are the first building on the left. Traffic Jam: Do take into account of the heavy traffic into your travelling time as the jam can take up to 15 minutes of waiting time.

By Train

If you are taking the train, the nearest MRT Station would be the Circle Line Macpherson MRT. Walk towards and cutting across the temples at Arumugam Rd. This will take you approximately 10 minutes. 

By Bus

There are buses available nearby the building too. The bus services available are:

  • Bus Stop A: 63 (from Eunos MRT, it is the 12th Stop), 137
  • Bus Stop B: 8, 22, 65, 66

Parking

Do note there is no complimentary parking at Wintech Centre. The parking charges are SGD 1.50 per hour. Alternatively you may want to park at the public carpark before Wintech Centre as shown in the map above.

We strongly encourage that you park at the JTC car car park (before reaching Wintech Centre) as there is ample car park.
