BCM Institute continues its innovative "hybrid learning" approach, combining traditional classroom instruction and online learning. This exciting option is now available for our 5000-level courses, offering participants a dynamic and flexible learning experience.
Note to Singapore SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) applicants. The Hybrid Learning course (Module 3 and Module 4 onsite) is not funded under the SSG program.
The first two modules (M1 and M2) will remain online, while the last two (M3 and M4) will be onsite.
Modules 3 and 4 will be taught onsite in Singapore or Malaysia. BCM Institute reserved the right to postpone the course if the minimum participation is less than five people.
Check out the schedule below:
Why Modules 1 and 2 are online?
The first two modules, being online, are a requirement for participants to complete the learning modules to be grounded in the DR fundamentals and concepts.
This also ensures that the participants will be awarded DRCP upon completing and passing the DRP-300 or DRP-5000 qualifying examination.
You can start your eLearning (Module 1) anytime, but it must be completed before Day 2 (Module 2) commences.
The principle is to ground you on all of the DR concepts and fundamentals before we start the course, and this can be done offline and on your own time.
For Module 2, the participants will need ample time to complete the four key templates to build the business continuity plan. Again, the entire syllabus requires more than one day to complete.
Module 2 consists of two online workshop sessions (M2-S1 and M2-S2). It is a three-hour session comprising pre-reading and assignment preparation before each session.
Payment
For participants attending the course, please note that payment is payable to the Singapore Bank per invoice in Singapore dollars. Not that it should be a complete amount without any tax.
For Malaysians applying through an HRD Corp grant, kindly write to sales.ap@bcm-institute.org so we can issue a quote in MYR.
Minimum Onsite Class Size
BCM Institute will conduct the course only if there are sufficient participants. Should there be a limited number of participants, BCM Institute reserves the right to announce and allow participants to join any available blended learning program and cancel or reschedule the course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, participants will be offered deferment to the next run of the same course.
Examination
For those taking the Specialist (DRCS) and Expert (DRCE) level Qualifying Examination, the Program Management team will advise on the next step once they are enrolled. This includes a practice exam and access to the examination portal.
Eligibility for Funding from Singapore and Malaysia
This course is NOT eligible for funding under the Singapore government SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) program as only 100% of the blended learning is funded online.
Malaysians taking the class in Malaysia can enjoy the HRD Corp available. Please check the funding with your respective organisation.
