# Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS)
The Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS) certification is designed and developed for management, department representatives, business unit coordinators designated with DR responsibilities, DR managers and planners.
Candidates will be imparted essential skills and knowledge of identifying critical or important business services, setting up impact tolerance, performing end-to-end mapping of processes and resources, conducting scenario testing and exercising, implementing continuous improvement and keeping DR plans current. Candidates will also be introduced to the key disaster recovery strategy development and roadmap stage.

###### IT Disaster Recovery Certified Planner-Specialist-Expert
#### Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS)
#### Pre-requisites
The prerequisites are:
- Attend and complete the DRP-300: IT Disaster Recovery Implementer course and pass the Qualifying DRCS examination
AND
- Have at least one year of IT disaster recovery professional experience and
- Be able to describe at least 3 **BCM Body of Knowledge** (BoK)
- Send in the **SGD 75** (Singapore Dollar) DRCS Certification Application Processing Fees
#### How to be Certified
To become a DRCS-certified professional, a candidate must complete four separate processes:
- Formal Education (attend and complete the DRP-300: Disaster Recovery Implementer course)
- Examination (attempt and pass the Qualifying DRCS examination)
- Show proof of at least one year of verifiable DR experience (Refer to the application form for further explanation)
- Make a payment of SGD 75 (non-refundable) application processing fee.
#### Formal Education
- Sign up for the DRP-300 course and complete the two modules (M1 to M2)
- Pay the Course Fees before starting the course.
- Be assigned login credentials to start the eLearning for Module 1
- Answer quizzes at the end of each sub-module of Module 1
- Continue to complete Module 2 within the schedule.
- Sit for the examination at the end of the course.
#### Examination
To sit for the Examination, a candidate must:
- Be competent in the Competency Level (CL):
- Foundation(CL 1)
- Intermediate (CL 2)
including the five BCM Body of Knowledge (BCM BoK)
- Attempt the online practice quiz at least once
#### Certification
To be issued a certificate, a candidate must:
- Pass the DRCS qualifying examination with a required passing score of 75% out of 100- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Submit a non-refundable Application Processing Fee
- Submit the Certification Application Form to the certification team
- Describe **three**out of seven of the BCM Body of Knowledge (BCM BoK) as experience
- Select two references for each BCM BoK (references may be repeated for all threeof seven of the BCM BoKs).
