Download CM Templates | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
Once the course schedule for Module 3 is confirmed, you should have been notified and given access to eCampus. You will be notified to download the assignment template which is the PowerPoint template to complete the submission of your crisis management team and command centre team.
Note that this assignment is to be discussed in the Module 4 Session 2 [M4-S1] online workshop and to be submitted together during Module 4 Session 2 {M4-S2].
Be prepared to share your assignment and if some of you do not have a Command Centre team, it is useful to develop one based on the pre-readings. Remember that in this course, sharing and learning start when you start to know what you do not know.
Pre-readings | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
Pre-readings will be provided as they are short blog articles and are accessible via the links as previewed in eCampus. Participants are advised to read them prior to each session as it serves as 'bite-sized' background information, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the concepts to be discussed.
It would also assist participants in the completion of their assignment in the following 1 hour online session.
Complete Content of CM Templates | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
In these two three-hour online workshop sessions, you are already provided access to the "CM Team and Command Centre Structure" Powerpoint template. Assignment complete is when M3-S1 and M3-S2 will be submitted after the completion of the M3-S2 online workshop with some editing based on the feedback from the class and the instructor.
Remember to record any questions and to raise them during the facilitated online session.
Attend Facilitated Online Sessions | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
Participants are required to attend two (2) online workshop sessions (three hours per session). All sessions are compulsory and run at the pre-determined online schedule. There would not be a repeat or substitute session for anyone who missed it. The session is:
- [M3-S1] Session 1: Establish CM Team and Manage CM Flow of Event: Pre-crisis; During Crisis; and Post-crisis
- [M3-S2] Session 2:Setup Command Centre Operations; Execute Crisis Communications and Maintain Crisis Leadership
Requirement for Assignment | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
At the end of Module 3, you are expected to complete the content (Less actual names and contact details) in an organisation chart (PowerPoint) format of:
- [1] Crisis Management Team
- [2] Command Centre Structure
Assignment Preparation Before Online Workshop | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
Develop Crisis Management Team and Appointment Holders: Do note that you can use your current organisation CM Team Structure as an example for the submission before you attend the M3-S1 online session. Remember to remove sensitive information such as contact numbers.
In addition, you are expected to provide the designation as per the Crisis Management versus their actual "peacetime" business designation in additional PowerPoint slides. For example:
- Chairperson of CM Team (CM Team) and CEO (Peacetime)
Develop Command Centre Structure: Once an organisation has set up a command and control structure, whether, it is either physical or virtual, what does this structure look like in your organisation?
A gentle reminder to those participants who may not be aware or do not have such a structure, please proceed to develop one with the help of the pre-readings. Another useful source is to refer to the sample command centre PowerPoint slides (Lesson 10) found in your downloadable handbook. The key is to develop one before you attend the M3-S1 online workshop session.
Submit (Upload) Assignment After M3-S2 Workshop | Item | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
At the end of Module 3 Session 2, you are required to submit the two assignments (in one document) to the Facilitator by uploading them to eCampus.
Submit your three completed assignments to the facilitator via upload to eCampus within 2 calendar days [12 pm GMT +8] after the Module 4 Session 2 [M4-S2] Facilitated Online workshop session.
