Are you tasked with implementing your organisation's crisis management (CM) plan? Do you want to know the content of a typical CM plan? Setting up a crisis management plan can be daunting, and a specific course designed and developed to address this requirement is designed and developed to meet this requirement.
The course is an experiential workshop led by experienced and practising professionals who manage the CM program and implement CM plans for their organizations.
Usually, the crisis management (CM) team consists of the senior management team, who will make the decisions. However, the implementation, maintenance, and coordination of the crisis response rests on the shoulders of the designated Organisation BCM Coordinator and the appointed BCM team.
This intermediate-level course suits professionals assigned roles and responsibilities to support or manage their respective functional areas within the CM program for your organization. The intermediate course emphasizes the grounding of CM knowledge, the structure for designing and developing the organization's CM effort, and the integration of the other plans.
This course is appropriate for organizations embarking on their crisis management journey after completing their Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation efforts. For all of the crisis management team members and their supporting contingent to implement a coherent plan, this course will help ground all designated (core or supporting) members to have the correct knowledge to implement their respective specific areas of the crisis management plan. For organizations with a CM plan, the participants will take away and use the toolkits and knowledge to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of their CM program.
Tools and templates will be provided to develop specific crisis management plans; the key is contextualising them to your environment. Using a case study and the facilitator's experience, this course has been recommended by past participants as a practical course that will guide them through the proper implementation of a CM plan.
Participants will emerge with a clear understanding of the expectations of crisis management (CM) and its processes. These include the knowledge of the following:
Participants are to send in an application detailing at least one year of CM experience, pay the application processing fee of SGD 75, and satisfy the experience requirements of the independent certification body.
