Complete Application Form: Sample CM BoK 6 TE #1

When you provide evidence of your experience, you must demonstrate that the requirement as spelt out in the respective BoK is executed during the specific period.  This sample submission is in your application form for BoK 6 Testing and Exercising. 

It is essential to demonstrate that you have conducted the processes within the BoK yourself over the specific period mentioned. Your two referees are willing to confirm the experience when the certification team needs verification.

Note that at least one of your referees should be your superior or supervisor.

Do note that some examples are for Specialist Level certification applications.  There is an expectation of more experience and involvement if you are applying for the Expert level certification.

1. What was performed?

  • CM_#TE Sample 1

    I am part of the team that organizes the drill; puts up the scenario, liaises with stakeholders, creates communication reminders for all employees, and marshals during the drill, and partly handles de-brief and lessons learned after each drill.

2. When was it done?

  • Started in December 201X and ended in mid-May 202X

3. How was it carried out?

  • I have been involved in the various teams within my organization that organized and executed different drills and exercises related to many areas–emergency response (fire, earthquake, bomb threat, active shooters), cybersecurity breach, and COVID incident handling.

  •  For exercises like tabletops and walkthroughs, I help draft the scenario and assist during the facilitation of the exercise. I facilitated and consolidated the post-exercise evaluation and directed the update of the BC plans by the business units to me corresponding to the result of the findings.
