Below are the detailed course curriculum and objective of Module 2 of BCM-5000 Blended Learning course. It details how each day of the course would allow the participants to have a systematic understanding of the BCM concepts and its implementation. Module 2 provides the participants with hands-on experience on using the complete set. of customized templates.

The participant will be attempting the Qualifying Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCCE) Examination after completing the four modules.

Description of Module (Day) 2 Course 

New call-to-actionModule 2 aims to provide the participants with hands-on experience in using customized templates for Risk Analysis and Review, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategy, Business Continuity Plan and Testing and Exercising. Concepts taught in Module 1 are put into practice in this segment of the course.

 

 

Participants are also taught how to process, analyze and interpret the data collected using templates provided.  Note that Module 2 is similar for BCM-300 and BCM-5000 Blended Learning.

Risk Analysis and Review
  • Identify potential threats that may disrupt business functions within the organization
Business Impact Analysis
  • Determine prioritized activities based on their recovery objectives, impacts and inter-dependencies
Module 2 Session 2
Business Continuity Strategy
  • Identify and implement strategies for continuity of critical business functions
Plan Development
  • Develop effective and functional comprehensive continuity plans and procedures
Testing and Exercising
  • Be familiar with the testing and exercising documentary requirement
