In plan maintenance, there is a heavy dependence on the continuous availability, supply and sufficiency of people, budget and resources to develop, manage and deliver the series of maintenance activities to keep the BC Plan up-to-date and accurate.
How well the maintenance is executed will directly impact the BC capability of the organization. This is because the effectiveness of BC Plan will be significantly reduced if there are no maintenance processes to keep the Plan current and accurate.
In this chapter, various methods for BC Plan maintenance activities, the related resources that are required for carrying out the maintenance activities and the management criteria such as documentation of change control, plan distribution and access control will be explained in detail.
