Explanation

This is a sample memorandum to be sent to staff members prior to a test.

TO:                 BCM Project Manager

FROM:           <Name of Business Unit BCM Coordinator>

As part of our regular testing of the business continuity plan, your co-operation is required in conducting the business unit’s Telephone Notification Test. This test is not to be disclosed to any personnel other than Business Unit Managers.

The test will be conducted on Thursday, xx/xx/202x at 8:45 pm.  The attached Design Profile for the Telephone Notification Test explains the test in detail.  If, for any reason, you are unable to participate, please contact my office by Wednesday xx/xx/202x
