Corporate Minimum Business Continuity Objective (MBCO) – Bandtree
This chapter outlines the Business Unit MBCOs for the eight identified Critical Business Functions (CBFs), providing measurable and time-bound targets for minimum service levels during and immediately following a business disruption.
Each Business Unit MBCO is tailored to reflect the essential outputs of the respective function, ensuring that Bandtree remains resilient and capable of supporting government-linked infrastructure needs even under adverse conditions.
Following BCM Institute’s guidance notes, the Corporate MBCO must:
- Define the minimum acceptable level of products or services during a disruption.
- Be measurable,
- Be aligned with the organisation’s strategic and operational goals.

Summing Up...
The Business Unit MBCOs detailed in this chapter serve as the operational backbone for ensuring Bandtree Sdn Bhd, Brunei, can continue delivering essential services during disruptions.
By defining minimum acceptable performance thresholds across all critical business functions, the company strengthens its readiness and ability to uphold its strategic obligations to stakeholders and government partners.
These objectives not only support the Corporate MBCO but also provide clarity for resource allocation, recovery planning, and prioritisation during crisis response.
Moving forward, these MBCOs will serve as benchmarks during testing, training, and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that Bandtree remains a reliable pillar in Brunei’s infrastructure and property management ecosystem.
