The Operational Resilience Body of Knowledge (OR BoK) is an all-inclusive term that describes the sum of the body of knowledge within the Operational Resilience (OR) profession.

When you are applying for your ORCS or ORCE certification, you are expected to demonstrate your experience in 4 of the OR BoK if you are applying for the ORCS/ ORAS and 8 (of the 15 OR BoK) of the OR BoK if you are applying for the ORCE/ ORAE.
This section overviews the three (3) OR BoK domains and fifteen (15) OR BoK. OR BoK Domain. Incidentally, the three OR BoK domains are the three phases of the OR Planning methodology. OR BoK. Each phase has five stages, forming the 15 OR BoK, the three domain (or phase) multiple by five stages. Access to each OR Body of Knowledge starts with a review of one of the five individual stages within each of the three OR BoK domains or phases of the OR planning methodology. |

When participants have completed their Specialist or Expert-level qualifying examination, they will apply for their certification, depending on their years of experience.
If you apply for your ORCS, you must have at least one year of OR or related experience. You must provide the Certification Review Committee with four of the fifteen OR BoK in your application form.
An example of what constituted experience for the OR applicant to justify his or her relevant experience for a particular BoK. The detailed explanation in each stage will be reflected as the relevant approach.
For example, stage one of the five stages is "Identify Critical Business Services, " which is the "Implement" phase or the second phase of the OR planning methodology.
When you have decided to use BoK 6 as part of justifying your OR certification application, the steps and activities "Determine which business services are critical" from the BoK "Identify Critical Business Services" stage must match the applicants' experience.
