CBF-12 Governance, Compliance & Reporting

Effective continuity of governance, compliance, and reporting functions is critical to SHINE’s ability to maintain operational integrity and meet regulatory obligations during a disaster.

CBF-12 encompasses essential activities such as compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, governance oversight, policy development, and audit and risk management.

Ensuring minimum resources are available during disruptions enables SHINE to sustain its oversight and reporting responsibilities, safeguard stakeholders’ interests, and maintain organisational resilience.

This chapter outlines the minimum resources required for each sub-critical business function (Sub-CBF) of CBF-12 during a disaster, including recovery locations, staffing, IT infrastructure, and other essential equipment.

Maintaining minimum resources for CBF-12 during a disaster ensures that SHINE can continue to monitor compliance, manage governance responsibilities, develop and review policies, and conduct audits effectively.

By pre-identifying recovery locations, staffing requirements, IT infrastructure, and additional support resources, SHINE strengthens its resilience against operational disruptions.

These measures safeguard organisational integrity, support regulatory compliance, and enable timely decision-making even during adverse conditions.
