When you are reading this section, you should be enrolled and probably just or about to receive your personalized userid and password to access the examination portal. To assist you to prepare for the actual [online] examination, you may want to start doing some preliminary reading on the Crisis Management and its related terminology that will be taught during the course. So, where do you start?
If you are attempting the following Crisis Management (CM) certification examination after completing either the CM-200: Crisis Management Planner, CM-300: Crisis Management Implementer, CM-400: Crisis Management Manager or CM-5000: Crisis Management Expert Implementer course, you should include this as part of your revision preparation. You can start reading through the terminologies starting from the Body of Knowledge or BOK 1 to BOK 7.
As you are enrolled, you should be able to identify the course name and code that you are attending. Proceed to locate in the appended table below which will direct you to the Competency Level or CL for Crisis Management (CM) that you will need to review.

CM-200: Crisis Management Planner
As for the CMCP examination, the format will be fifty multiple choice questions, and there will be no deduction for incorrect answers. The duration for the CMCP exam will be one and a half hours. Note: This course content forms Day 1 of the CM-300 course. We do recommend that the CM-300 be taken instead for completeness.

CM-300: Crisis Management Implementer
The summary of the terms used during the preparation of risis Management Certified Planner (CMCP) examination can be found here: CL 2C. Do take note that when you are requested to read CL 2C, it is assumed that CL 2C is part of the examination.
CM-400: Crisis Management Manager/CM-5000: Crisis Management Expert Implementer
The preparation of the Crisis Management Certified Expert (CMCE) examination pertaining to the terminologies used during the CM-400 (which is a 2-day course after attempting the CM-300 in an earlier date) or CM-5000 course, can be found in CL 3C. Do take note that when you are requested to read CL 3C, it is assumed that CL 1C and CL 2C are included as part of the reading for the CMCE examination.
Do note the reading on the CL will give you a good understanding on the terminology that is used in the CM discipline. The rest of the learning for the preparation of the examination will be from the content of the course. Happy Reading !!
