This second instalment entails developing the CM organisation's structure and BCM framework.

Once the project initiation course, CM-420 is completed, the following schedule will start with CM-300 for the CM Project Team members. They are expected to complete four of the seven phases of the CM planning methodology.
Each phase is structured to optimise the allocated time and maximise learning through supplementary readings and offline discussions.
Depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the implementation of each phase could last anywhere from 3 weeks to 1 month (elapsed time). The only exception is the Testing and Exercising phase.
The standard CM project implementation involves training appointed Crisis Management Team Members to plan and execute tests and exercises for their respective departments, which takes 2 or 4 weeks.
The key is to equip yourself with the CM knowledge to effectively "contextualise" your business functions, products, and services in the CM planning process. Furthermore, we will need to be aware of the nature of the business, its affiliations, and any other regulatory or political relationships.
At times, your organisation may request that we conduct the tests and exercises on their behalf, which would lengthen the time needed. Typically, a project running on CM-300 modules may last 5 to 7 months, depending on the availability of resources and scheduling.
