Notes for BCM Institute's Course Participants: This is the template for completing the "Part 3: BCS - Minimum Resources Required during a Disaster"

CBF-3: Client & Stakeholder Management

In the event of a disruptive incident or disaster, Bandtree's ability to resume critical operations in a timely and efficient manner is paramount.

Purpose of Chapter

This chapter outlines the minimum resource requirements necessary to sustain essential business functions during a disaster. These resources include staffing, workspaces, telecommunications, IT hardware, and other operational tools critical to the continuation of services.

The identification and quantification of these minimum resources are based on risk assessments, business impact analyses, and operational dependency mapping.

By establishing precise recovery requirements, Bandtree ensures that contingency measures are practical, scalable, and aligned with its Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).

Furthermore, this chapter serves as a foundational reference for activating recovery plans and coordinating efforts with internal teams, stakeholders, and service providers during crisis response.

This structured approach is vital for maintaining client confidence, meeting regulatory expectations, and upholding the company’s commitment to public service and infrastructure management under the oversight of Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd.

This is a structured table for CBF-3: Client & Stakeholder Management and its associated sub-processes (Sub-CBFs) for Bandtree, using the required headers and format:

Summing Up ...

Ensuring the availability of minimum required resources during a disaster is not only a technical necessity but a strategic imperative for Bandtree.

By clearly defining the essential personnel, tools, and environments needed for business function recovery, the organisation significantly enhances its resilience and readiness.

This chapter forms a critical part of Bandtree’s broader Business Continuity Management framework and must be regularly reviewed, tested, and updated in line with operational changes and emerging risks.

Doing so will strengthen the company’s capability to manage disruptions with minimal impact to clients, stakeholders, and national infrastructure services, reaffirming its role as a trusted government-linked entity in Brunei Darussalam.
