[WSQ-CC] SSG Funding: Company-Sponsored

Trying to find out more on the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding for WSQ Crisis Communication (CC) courses specifically for Company-Sponsored participants.  The WSQ program are funded and quality-assured by SSG who awards the WSQ certifications. This blog is intended for participants who wants to know about SSG's funding available.

WSQThe Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce. These funding is applicable to Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR).

SkillFutureSG_CompanySponsored IconBCM Institute is an Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) offering Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management (CM) and Crisis Communication (CC).  WSQ supports the SkillsFuture movement to:

  • Promote recognition of skills and competencies to facilitate progression, mastery and mobility;
  • Promote holistic development of the workforce through technical and generic skills and competencies;
  • Support economic development by professionalising skills and competencies to drive industry transformation, productivity and innovation efforts; and
  • Encourage lifelong learning.

Training programmes developed under the WSQ system are based on skills and competencies validated by employers, unions and professional bodies. This process ensures existing and emerging skills and competencies that are in demand are used to inform training and development under WSQ. 

Price and training grant available CC Courses

Course fee before any funding is priced at Singapore Dollar or SGD 1,280.  Appended are the course fee payable by the participants are funding for the WSQ Crisis Communication courses.

Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme Participants

For Singaporeans who are 35 years old and above earning a monthly income of not more than SGD 2,000. 

Training grant amount: SGD 1,216

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 64

Small-Medium Enterprise (SME)

Singapore Citizen

Training grant amount: SGD 900

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 380

Non - SME

Singapore Citizen

Training grant amount: SGD 270

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 1,010

Singapore PR

Regardless of company

Training grant amount: SGD 270

Course fee payable after training grant approval: SGD 1,010

 

SkillFutureSG_CreditSkillsFuture Credit

 

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above received an opening credit of SGD $500 from the Singapore government since January 2016.
 
Only self-sponsored applicants can use the SkillsFuture credits to pay for or offset course fees. More information can be found by clicking www.skillsfuture.sg/credit
