Comparison Between BCM WSQ Competency-based Vs Non-WSQ Training

Written by Suhana Sunreh | May 27, 2023 11:22:49 AM

You should read this blog if you intend to seek funding for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG(.  You must be a Singaporean or a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR).

Given the introduction of competency-based training, we were often asked about the possibility of getting into BCM Institute's certification program.

We must emphasise that the competency-based training funding by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is independent of our certification program.

However, upon completing the competency-based training and if you are still keen on pursuing our certification program, there is a "bridging" route for you.

There are 2 ‘routes’ to getting your intermediate-level BCM certification or Business Continuity Certified Specialist (BCCS) certification. One will be via the competency track, and another will be the certification track. But what are the differences between these two tracks, and which should you attend?

The main differences that may affect your decision to follow either of the tracks will probably be course duration and the course fee. The comparison below could give you a better picture of the best track you should be on.
