# Workflow: Screening of Visitor at the Workplace
With the coming of COVID-19, it is imperative that we screen visitors to the organization's workplace even when the lockdown is over. This short article covers some of the general tips and measures involved in allowing access to a visitor to your workplace, ensuring they are not carrying any symptoms, and keeping both them and your staff safe in these trying times

#### Pandemic Influenza: Incident Management
The lockdown is over and the workplace opens up. What then? COVID-19 is going to follow us for years after and, no matter how well prepared or well vaccinated we are, it will continue to be in our lives in some capacity for a long time. There's a good chance that the virus will flare up now and then, or a new mutation shows up that renders the vaccine less effective. Thus, we need to be prepared. We need to keep our people safe.
The diagram below touches upon the screening of visitors not simply for COVID-19, but also for other similar types of contagious pandemics. It showcases from start to end what needs to be done the second a visitor shows up at your organization's doorstep, and the steps one needs to take to ensure that the virus does not spread to anyone within the organization's premises.
