Isolation Room and Evacuation Route

Isolation Rooms serve as designated zones where people (whether staff/client/customer) who are have displayed symptoms common to the infectious disease to isolate/quarantine until the ambulance arrives to pick them up to the hospital. Isolation rooms can be intended for short-term stay until the ambulance arrives or extended, longer stay for other institutions like dormitories or medical facilities. Needless to say, Isolation rooms are a key fixture of pandemic preparedness, and necessary to keep suspect cases away from the rest of the staff.

The evacuation route is a designated route from the isolation room(s) to the ambulance pickup point. It is carefully mapped out to ensure the fastest, easiest route to the ambulance pickup point with the least amount of exposure to the rest of the work site.
