Why are Modules 1 and 2 online?
The first two modules, which are online, are the requirement for participants to complete the learning modules to be grounded in the OR fundamentals and concepts. It also ensures that the participants will be awarded ORCP upon completing and passing the OR-5000 qualifying examination.
The principle is to ground you in all the OR concepts and fundamentals before we start the course, and this can be done offline and at your own pace.
As for Module 2, the participants will require ample time to complete the four key templates, which build up the operational resilience plan. Again, it requires more than one day to complete the entire syllabus.
Module 2 consists of two online workshop sessions (M2-S1 and M2-S2). It is a three-hour session comprising pre-reading and assignment preparation before each session.
For participants attending the course, please note that payment is payable to the Singapore Bank per invoice in Singapore dollars. For Malaysians applying through an HRD Corp grant, kindly write to us for us to issue a quote in MYR. Note that it should be a complete amount without any tax.
BCM Institute will conduct the course only if there are sufficient participants. Should there be a limited number of participants, BCM Institute reserves the right to announce and allow participants to join any available blended learning program and cancel or reschedule the course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, participants will be offered deferment to the next run of the same course.
For those taking the Specialist (ORCS) and Expert (ORCE) level Qualifying Examination, the Program Management team will advise the next step once enrolled. This includes a practice exam and access to the examination portal.
They are the [OR-3] OR-300 Operational Resilience Implementer course and the [OR-5] OR-5000 Operational Resilience Expert Implementer.
