Operational Resilience Certified Specialist (ORCS)

Pre-requisites

The pre-requisites are:

  • Attend and complete the OR-300: Operational Resilience Implementer course and Pass the Qualifying ORCS examination
    AND
  • Have at least one year of Operational Resilience/ business continuity/ crisis management/ IT disaster recovery professional experience and
  • Be able to describe at least 4 OR related Body of Knowledge (BoK)
  • Send in the SGD 75 (Singapore Dollar) ORCS Certification Application Processing Fees

How to be Certified

To become an ORCS-certified professional, a candidate must complete four separate processes:

  • Formal Education (attend and complete the OR-300: Operational Resilience Implementer course)
  • Examination (attempt and pass the Qualifying ORCS examination)
  • Show proof of at least one year of verifiable OR experience (Refer to the application form for further explanation)
  • Make a payment of SGD 75 (non-refundable) application processing fee.

Formal Education

  • Sign up for the course and complete the four modules
  • Pay the Course Fees before starting the eLearning course (Module 1)
  • Be assigned login credentials to start the eLearning
  • Answer quizzes at the end of each sub-module
  • Complete the course within 30 days from issuance of userid.
  • Be competent in Competency Level CL 1: Foundation (OR) and Competency Level CL 2: Intermediate(OR)
  • Be awarded ORCP certification.

Examination

To sit for the Examination, a candidate must:

  • Be competent in the Competency Level CL 1OR: Foundation (OR) and CL 2OR: Intermediate (OR), including the 4 OR Body of Knowledge (OR BoK)
  • Attempt the online practice quiz at least once

Certification

To be issued a certificate, a candidate must:

  • Pass the ORCS qualifying examination with a required passing score of 75% out of 100- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Submit a non-refundable Application Processing Fee
  • Submit the Certification Application Form to certification team
  • Describe at least four (out of the fifteen) OR Body of Knowledge (BoK)
  • Select two references for each OR BoK* (references may be repeated for all four OR BoK

Fee Payment

  • Application Processing Fee (Singapore Dollar): SGD 75. (Not included in course fees and non-refundable even if the application is rejected)
  • Annual Maintenance Fee: SGD 75 (Applicable after your first year of certification)
