  • Metrics: Quantitative data demonstrating impact (e.g., risk score reduction).
  • Testimonials: References from colleagues or project stakeholders.

4. Quantify duration: Mention your time at each stage, highlighting your dedicated engagement.

5. Go beyond the minimum: While meeting specific standards of BoK expectations is essential, demonstrate how you exceeded them by adding further value. Did you develop innovative approaches? Lead a team through the process? Share such advancements to showcase your initiative and leadership.

  • Recognize the importance of aligning risk appetite with the organization's business objectives.
Defining Risk Appetite Statements
  • Differentiate between KPIs and KRIs in the context of operational resilience.
  • Develop top-down KPIs that measure the OR program's effectiveness in achieving risk appetite objectives. (e.g., Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
  • Identify KRIs that signal potential deviations from the established risk appetite. (e.g., frequency of near misses, incident severity)
Alignment and Communication
