What Are the Basic Concepts Needed for Business Continuity & Crisis Management?

Written by Moh Heng Goh | Mar 19, 2020 10:21:04 AM

Here at BCM Institute, we make sure that our participants health and safety remain our topmost priority. Hence, we have worked with our venue providers to ensure that you are taken care of from the moment you register with our courses up to your examinations.

Here are a list of measures, we've put in place.

What We Do Before You Come To Class?

At the onset of your registration we would need your help to provide us with a travel declaration.

We would also ask the same of the instructors that we have engaged to facilitate your class.

The same travel declaration would also be sent to you again at least 1 day before the class. Once we receive a response that you or our instructors have visited any of these countries*: China, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, UK or any of the ASEAN, in the last 14 days.  We would not allow you or the instructor to come for class.

*Note that the list would be updated in line with Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

What Happens Before and During the Class?

During the course, temperature checking are done twice a day (one before you come to class and one after you return from lunch).

The person assigned to conduct the temperature check would then alert us if you or the instructor are running a fever. If such cases do happen, we would not allow you or the instructor to come back the next day.

Once in class, we would ensure that you are seated 1 meter away from each other.

Lunch and tea break would also be staggered so that social distancing would be maintained between our class participants with the others that are going on in the hotel.

What Happens At Exams

Similarly during exams, we would be  maintaining a 1 meter away distance.
