Step 10: Obtain Commitment and Approval


The Organization DR Coordinator should insist on and ensure that formal approval for the DR Planning project is obtained.

As part of the approval, the Organization DR Coordinator will need to prepare a written DR Planning project proposal (or charter), including estimated costs and staffing requirements, and request that it be signed by the Executive Management in all affected areas. It is imperative not to rely upon verbal approval alone.
