How do I know which areas to improve?
BCM Institute will notify you on the areas of improvement based on the BCM Body of Knowledge (BCMBoK).
What If I fail the second attempt?
We understand that it may frustrates you to know that you have failed your second attempt. Regardless, you can still retake the examination but at a fee. You can read more here - re-examination fees.
Can I request for a re-evaluation of the electronic examination?
As the electronic examination is online and the result is made known instantaneous, there will be no re-evaluation of results or appeal for the examination.
Will the sample questions during the practice test same as previous?
Yes, it will be the same sample questions and it will be repeated. The practice test given is to familiarize yourself with the examination format. Please be advised that the questions are NOT the actual questions you will be answering in your real time exam thus it is not meant for revision purpose.
I have studied well, but why do I still fail?
When attempting the examination, it is good to know the mechanism of scoring the right answer. Often, there is four answers to one question and you are expected to score only one answer.
Can I know my detailed score?
Sorry, the Institute will NOT release the detailed examination score achieved by participants.
Do I get a revision note?
You can watch the revision videos available on the BCMpedia page. On the Body Of Knowledge (BoK) page, click on the BoK which you are required to focus and scroll down to watch the video.
Do I need to refer my handbook?
In your handbook, you will find exam references, also known as a BOKs. This is where you will see the references used by the writers to determine the correct answers to the exam questions. You can go to each of the references yourself to help you better understand the type of questions to expect on your exam.
The Importance of Reviewing the Exam References
By reviewing the exam references or something referred to as Competency Level 1 to 3, you will have gained additional insights as to how the exam questions were composed and the text that they are based off.
Will my organization be informed of my unsuccessful attempt?
No, all examination results will only be sent to the student/participant.
