Why are Modules 1 and 2 online?

The first two online modules require participants to complete the learning modules to be grounded in the CM fundamentals and concepts. It also ensures that the participants will be awarded CMCP upon completing and passing the CM-300 or CM-5000 qualifying examination.

You can start your eLearning (Module 1) at any time, but it must be completed before Module 2 (Day 2) commences.  The principle is to ground you in all the CM concepts and fundamentals before we start the course, and this can be done offline and at your own pace.

As for Module 2, the participants will require ample time to complete the four key templates, which build up the crisis management plan.  Again, it requires more than one day to complete the entire syllabus.

Module 2 consists of two online workshop sessions (M2-S1 and M2-S2).  It is a three-hour session comprising pre-reading and assignment preparation before each session.

Payment

For participants attending the course, please note that payment is payable to the Singapore Bank per invoice in Singapore dollars. For Malaysians applying through an HRD Corp grant, kindly write to us so we can issue a quote in MYR. Note that it should be a complete amount without any tax.

Minimum Onsite Class Size

BCM Institute will conduct the course only if there are sufficient participants.

Should there be a limited number of participants, BCM Institute reserves the right to announce and allow participants to join any available blended learning program and cancel or reschedule the course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, participants will be offered deferment to the next run of the same course.

Examination

For those taking the Specialist (CMCS) and Expert (CMCE) level Qualifying Examination, the Program Management team will advise on the next step once enrolled.  This includes a practice exam and access to the examination portal.

Eligibility for Funding from Singapore and Malaysia

This course is NOT eligible for funding under the Singapore government SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) program, as only the 100% online, blended learning is funded.

Note that the funding does not cover the additional payment of SGD 300 for the on-site course.

Malaysians taking the class in Malaysia can enjoy the HRD Corp's available. Please check the funding with your respective organisation.
