Frequently Asked Questions on Certification Application Form Submission

Which Certification Am I Eligible to Apply? What Requirement Do I Need to Submit in the Application Forms?
Specialist Certification

You should be applying for the "Specialist" certification if you have:

  • Attended and completed the BCM-300/ DRP-300/ CM-300/ CC-300 course
  • Passed the Qualifying BCCS/ DRCS/ CMCS/ CCCS examination

   
  • Attended and completed the BCM-5000/ CM-5000/ DRP-5000/ CC-5000 course but have at least one year of BCM experience and do not have three years of BCM experience
  • Passed the Qualifying BCCE/ DRCE/ CMCE/ CCCE examination
The requirement to submit Certification Application Form
  • Have at least one year of BCM/ DR/ CM/ CC professional experience
  • Other than Section I and II the participants will need to describe 3 out of 7 Body of Knowledge (BoK) listed and explain each BCMBoK in the box provided in the form.
  • State 2 References for each BC/DR/CM/CC experience
  • Certification Application Processing Fees: Send in the SGD 75 BCCS/ DRCS/ CMCS/ CCCS 
Expert Certification

You should be applying for the "Expert" certification if you have:

  • Attended and Completed the BCM-400/ DRP-400/ CM-400/ CC-400 course (Note that there is a mandatory pre-requisite of successful completion of the 300 level courses)
  • Attended and Completed the BCM-5000/ DRP-5000/ CM-5000/ CC-5000 course
  • Passed the Qualifying BCCE/ DRCE/ CMCE/ CCCE examination
   
The requirement to submit Certification Application Form
  • Have at least three years of BCM/ DR/ CM/ CC professional experience
  • Other than Section I and II the participants will need to describe 5 out of 7 Body of Knowledge (BoK) listed and explain each BCMBoK in the box provided in the form
  • Certification Application Processing Fees:  Submit SGD 150 for expert-level certification BCCE/DRCE/CMCE/CCCE
  •  State 2 References for each BC/DR/CM/CC experience
Audit Certification

You should be applying for the "Auditor" certification if you have: 

  • Attended and Completed the BCM-8030/BCM-8530 course
  • Passed the Qualifying BCCA/BCCLA examination
       
The requirement to submit Certification Application Form
  • Have at least one year of BCM or BCM Audit professional experience
  • Other than Section I and II the participants will need to describe 3 out of 7 Body of Knowledge (BoK) listed and explain each BCMBoK in the box provided in the form.
  • State 2 References for each audit experience
  • Send in the SGD 75 BCCA Certification Application Processing Fees
  • Send in the SGD 150 BCCLA Certification Application Processing Fees
How Long Does the Certification Review (Experience Verification Process) will take place?

The experience verification process will take place from the time we send your form for the review board's assessment.

In case if there is any further requirement needed by the reviewer to approve the Application Form, the participant will have to revise the Application Form accordingly and revert back the completed to the certification team for further process.

An acknowledgement form will be sent to the applicants as soon as the certification receives the completed form together with the Application Form Processing Fee.

Can the Submission Deadline of the Application Form be Extended?

Yes, you may.

In case the applicant is not able to revert the completed Application Form and Checklist within 30 days from the day they have received the Application Form, they can request the deadline to be extended by writing an email to the certification team @ certification@bcm-institute.org.

Is there Any Reference/ Samples of the Application Form we can get from the BCM Institute Team?

The applicant may request a sample of the Application Form which will be then provided to them. A sample can be found here: Sample of BCMBoK.

Format to send in the Application Forms?

The Application Form and Checklist should be send over to us in Word Version as this enables the reviewer to mark and input their feedback and comments in the Application Form.

Will the Application Form Processing Fee will be refunded if the Application Form is rejected?

The Application Form Processing Fee is a one-time non-refundable payment.
