Danny was also regularly interviewed on major news networks like Channel News Asia and The Straits Times. Danny then became Regional Director, Global Risk Management for Marriott International Inc. He handled numerous crises spanning manmade ones like terrorism attacks, natural disasters like earthquakes, and major events like the Olympic Games. Danny was Senior Consultant, Security Monitoring and Response, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa for Mastercard International Inc. before transiting into his current role of Regional Security Officer for the Asia Pacific.
Danny currently sits on ASIS International’s Global Board of
Directors, the advisory council of Harvard Business Review,
the US-ASEAN Business Council’s Cybersecurity Subcommittee, and the Counter Terrorism Certification
Board. Danny is also the Chair of FS-ISAC’s CISO Congress and
sits on their Asia Pacific Strategy Committee.
In his free time, Danny volunteers as an Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre & Small Claims Tribunals of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore and runs his own micro-social initiative organization, “Making a Difference”.
