This session emphasises the importance of getting management buy-in to the DR project via a presentation and proposal.

  • Identify critical and helpful information to be included in the proposal
  • Appreciate the common objections, attitudes and misconceptions toward the DR proposal

Develop DR Team Structure

This session discusses the structure of a DR Team and the associated roles and responsibilities of this team.
  • Develop DR Team organisation structure
  • Determine the selection criteria and qualifications of DR team members
  • Identify DR sub-teams
  • Develop and monitor assigned tasks and follow-up activities

This session helps identify the Important information used in the DR plan that should be gathered and consolidated before implementation.

Implement Steps to Recover from Disaster

This describes the life cycle of a typical disaster and helps participants visualise the response and recovery steps to be taken.
  •  Understand the stages of the Disaster Recovery Life Cycle.
  • Identify the steps required to respond to the disaster until returning to normal
