FAQ on ISO22301 BCMS Manager [BCM-400] Course

Welcome to BCM Institute's introductory page on the ISO 22301 BCMS Manager course leading to the Business Continuity Certified Expert or BCCE certification.  The course code is BCM-400 and the pre-requisite is to complete the BCM-300 or ISO 22301 BCMS Implementer course.

What is included in the course fees?

The courseware (handbook), refreshment during course, and a Qualifying BCCE examination with a qualifying BCCE re-examination. The BCCE application processing fees is not included in the course fees. 

Is there a pre-requisite prior joining the BCM-400 course?

Yes. Those who have completed the pre-requisite, BCM-300 ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) Implementer course can attend this follow up course. After completion and passing of the (BCCE) online exam, you will be able to apply the BCCE certificate by sending in an application detailing at least 3 years of BC experience, make the application processing fee payment of SGD150 and satisfies and meets the experience requirements of the independent certification body.

For those who have completed the Blended Learning BCM-300 [BL-B-3] course, this is equivalent to the classroom-based BCM-300 ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) Implementer course.

Do I need to complete the exams?

If you are trying to achieve you expert level certification and you are completing the expert certification in two installments, then, in the BCM-400 course, you should do the expert level examination, as this would allow you to obtain an internationally recognized BCM certification or the BCCE. Passing of the exams allows you to be certified as a Business Continuity Certified Expert. 

It is important to note that NOT attempting the examination, implies that there will be no refund of any portion of the course fee.  The examination is in-built and is complementary to the course participants.

Participants Attending Blended Learning {Module 3 and 4)

For those who are attending the Blended Learning course, BCM-400 is Module 3 and Module 4 of the Blended Learning BCM-5000 course.  Participant will be completing their examination via a submission of courseware and project. 

What happens should I fail the BCCE exam?

You are entitled to another re-examination at no cost provided you sit for the e-examination within three months after your first examination attempt. Otherwise, you are deem to pay a re-examination fee to Kindly write in to exam@bcm-institute.org for more details.
