Business Continuity Management (BCM) is often confused with crisis management (CM). For those who have attended the institute’s CM certification courses, you begin to notice that organisations need to increase their preparedness to manage a disaster and a crisis. This is a one-day introductory course [or 8 hours of self-paced eLearning] on business crisis management (BCM), best suited for someone who wants to understand the subject.

COMPETENCY LEVEL: DO
This two-day [one 8-hour eLearning + two 3-hour online workshops] intermediate business continuity management (BCM) course incorporates the BCM-200 syllabus before the start of the course (Module 1). It is best suited for BCM/CM coordinators and newly appointed BCM coordinators who want to know how to contribute to a BCM team and decide on the best business continuity management strategy. There is no experience pre-requisite for attending the course.

COMPETENCY LEVEL: MANAGE
This advanced business continuity management (BCM) course follows up on those who attended the BCM-300 Business Continuity Management Implementer course. Participants will be taught how to manage a crisis management flow of events and conduct advanced-level testing, such as integrated and simulation exercises.

COMPETENCY LEVEL: MANAGE
This advanced business continuity management (BCM) course follows up on those who attended the BCM-300 Business Continuity Management Implementer course. Participants will be taught how to manage a business continuity management flow of events and conduct advanced-level testing, such as integrated and simulation exercises.

Singaporeans and Singapore PR who would like to take advantage of SkillsFuture Singapore funding can look into BCM Institute’s easy-to-digest, bite-sized, 3- and 2-day competency-based crisis management courses.
COMPETENCY LEVEL: DO
This 3-day [six 3-hour online workshops] course covers the first two fundamental steps in implementing a BCM plan. This course on assessing risk and business impact requirements would allow participants to gain WSQ competency in identifying critical business functions (CBF). Besides CBF, participants will also be able to understand how to assess a business unit's interdependencies.
There is no experience pre-requisite for attending the course.

This course teaches participants the know-how of developing business continuity strategies and plans.
