How Much Time is Required As BCM Project Manager?

What is a SSG Funded Training-led Consultancy Project?

BCM Institute's proposed SSG Funded Training-Led Consultancy is a combination of personalized consulting and international certification training, uniquely structured to assist an organisation to develop, implement and finalize its business continuity plan and business continuity management (BCM) program.

It uses SSG funded course, BCM-5000 ISO 22301 BCMS Course and its Funding to help defray the consultancy cost as well as allow the organisation's BCM team to be BCM competent.

Legend:
  Business Unit (BU) BCM Coordinator
  Project Manager (Organisational BCM Coordinator)
As the appointed BCM Project Manager, there is a requirement for you to participate as a BU BCM Coordinator.

* Part A and B are phases done in a "day" session. Note that the  phases/parts may be done on separate dates depending on the agreed project schedule. Hence the 4.5 Days may not run consecutively.

All BCM members (BU BCM Coordinator and Organisational BCM Coordinator) are to spend the minimum 4.5 days for the organisation to enjoy the funding.

Notes:

  Commitment For BU BCM Coordinator
Only 5 Days (4.5 Hours + 4 Hours)
[1] Training and Completion of Individual Business Unit Requirement

Assuming that there is only 6 hours per working day, the required hours to to attend the workshop totals 27.5 hours, equivalent to only 4-1/2 (Four and half) days

We would need (compulsory) all of the BU BCM coordinator to attend as everyone's input is needed to ensure that each phase has been thought through collectively.

[2] Finalised Submission for Each Phase

We would also need the BU BCM Coordinator to spend an additional 4 hours. This includes discussion with the individual department heads to ensure realistic information are provided for reports of each phase.

  Commitment For Project Manager
Only 8 Days
[3] Project Management and Reporting

We would need your assistance to spend an additional 3.5 days to assist us in ensuring that the reports written by BCM Institute are realistic and in line with management's needs.
