Some organisation upon implementing its business continuity plan has left the maintaining of its currency by simply appointing professional who may or may not be trained in business continuity management. As the BCM project is completed and it is now on program management mode, its business unit BCM coordinators were also turnover due to posting or resignation.
BCM Institute would like to introduce a quick resolution to this competency issue with the introduction of the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training fund which is supported by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
After implementation of the BCM program within your organization, should there be a replacement to the officer responsible for BCM, you may send the replacement to a public BCM course we offer, this time you might want to consider the Competency-based course i.e BCM WSQ course.
This is the strength of this program as it ensures continuity of BCM knowledge of the incoming officer. The replacement can bring the current completed BCM templates to the public course to do the update and changes while he or she is attending the class. Be sure to keep the program executive and facilitator informed before the start of the class.
WSQ is a national credential system and the WSQ training fund is supported by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). If you are a Singaporean who is age of 40 and above, you may want to take advantage of the 70% to 90% funding from SSG.
