An Audit Checklist is for keeping the Auditor focused on the task at hand. This is a sample Audit Checklist which focuses on the activities to be conducted for the auditing process.

Content of the BCM Audit Program

The explanation of the content of the BCM Audit program is as follows:

Description Explanation
Audit Scope The determination of the extent and range of the activities and the period (months or years) of records that are to be subjected to an audit examination
Audit Objectives The defined purpose or aim of an audit process or activity.
Risks Risk is the exposure to potential loss due to a threat; which causes a disruption to business operations, preventing them from achieving the Minimum Business Continuity Objective (MBCO). It has components of impact and probability or likelihood.
Audit Procedures  Audit Procedures provide examples of procedures an Auditor might follow in an audit engagement. The objective of the procedure documents is to provide information on how to meet the standards when performing auditing work, and not to set requirements
